Eye Heru 369 makes software that runs on your own computer. This policy explains
what our apps do with your information. The short version: we do not collect any
of it. We have no analytics, no accounts, no tracking, and no server that receives
your data.

The short version

• We do not collect, store, sell, or share your personal information.
• There are no user accounts and no sign-in.
• There is no analytics, telemetry, advertising, or tracking of any kind.
• Your documents stay on your Mac unless you choose a feature that sends them
  elsewhere, and the app tells you which features those are.

PDF Vibe 369

PDF Vibe 369 is a text-to-speech reader for macOS. Here is exactly what happens
to your information when you use it.

Your documents

When you import a PDF, EPUB, Word file, web page, image or pasted text, the app
extracts the readable text and stores a copy inside its own folder on your Mac, so
the document keeps working offline. That copy is readable only by your macOS user
account. Nothing about the document is sent to us. We never see it, and we have no
way to.

Your reading position, bookmarks, and per-document settings are stored on your
Mac in the same way.

Apple voices (the default)

The built-in Apple voices run entirely on your Mac. Reading a document with an
Apple voice sends nothing over the network at all. The app works with no internet
connection.

OpenAI and ElevenLabs voices (optional)

PDF Vibe 369 can also read using voices from OpenAI or ElevenLabs. These are
optional, off by default, and only work if you add your own API key from that
company in Settings ▸ Voices.

If and only if, you add a key and select one of those voices, the app sends
the portion of the document being read to that company so it can generate the
audio. It is sent directly from your Mac to that company, using your own account
with them. It does not pass through any system of ours.

What that company does with the text is governed by their policy, not ours:

The audio that comes back is cached on your Mac so replaying a chapter does not
cost you a second time. You can clear that cache at any time in Settings ▸ Storage.

If you never add an API key, none of this ever happens.

Your API keys

API keys you enter are stored in the macOS Keychain on your own Mac. They are
sent only to the company that issued them, to authorise your own requests. They are
never sent to us and never appear in any file we can read.

Web page import

When you add a web page, the app downloads that page directly from the address
you gave it, the same way a browser would, and extracts the readable article text.
No record of what you imported is sent anywhere.

Diagnostics

PDF Vibe 369 can record a local playback log to help diagnose audio problems. It
is off by default, you turn it on yourself in Settings ▸ Storage, and it records
only timings and sentence numbers, never the words in your documents. It stays on
your Mac and is never transmitted. You can delete it from the same screen.

What we collect

Nothing. PDF Vibe 369 has no analytics library, no crash reporter of ours, no
advertising identifier, and no server belonging to Eye Heru 369 that it contacts.
If you downloaded the app from the Mac App Store, Apple may provide us with
anonymous aggregate sales and crash statistics; that is Apple’s process and is
described in Apple’s own privacy policy. We cannot identify individual users from
it.

Other Eye Heru 369 apps

Our other apps follow the same principles: your files stay on your machine, we
run no servers that receive your data, and we collect nothing. Where an app offers
an optional feature that contacts a third-party service, the app says so in its
settings before you use it.

Children

Our apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect
information from anyone, of any age, because we do not collect information at all.

Your rights

Laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, export or
delete the personal data a company holds about you. We hold none, so there is
nothing for us to produce or erase. Everything the app stores is on your own
computer and under your control: you can delete a document from the library inside
the app, or remove the app’s folder entirely, and it is gone.

Changes to this policy

If our apps ever change what they do with your information, this page will be
updated and the date at the top will change.
